For the final assignment of our CA 107 unit we were asked to do a short reflection video about a PNG literature and how this literature is important to our journey of becoming a good journalist in the future.
Personally, I chose a poem, written by Diddy Kinamun Jackson titled, “As a writer”.
The poem was published in the book, “The Crocodile Prize
2013 Anthology”. It depicts the experience of writing beneath the moonlight
on a cold, hard rock, while weaving tales from the dream time. It reflects on
the experiences and emotions of writing, capturing the essence of storytelling
and the dedication it requires. The poem is directed towards the readers and
aspiring writers.
